Xavier Claudio Sotomayor (he/they, él/elle) Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Xavier has been involved in performing arts throughout his youth. First through music, been part of several bands for around 10 years performing around Puerto Rico. Later on became involved with juggling, performing on the streets and stop lights at the beginning and then joined several circus companies right after graduating from the University of Puerto Rico with a BA in sociology. After several years and due to climate conditions, Xavier had the chance to move abroad and decided to go to Chicago, returning slowly to the performing arts and photography, and collaborating with several collectives around the city as a performer and amateur photographer.
