Cori Woods

Program Coordinator

Cori Woods is an actor, screenwriter, and dancer. Born and raised in Chicago, Cori has performed at the former Clockwise Theatre in Waukegan and multiple small theaters in the Chicago area. In addition, she has trained at Columbia College Chicago, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Acting Studio Chicago, Green Shirt Studio, and Margie Haber Studio. She graduated from the Second City Conservatory program in 2019 and is currently represented by Hayes Talent Agency. Cori’s career highlight is a Co-Star role on Chicago PD (season 3). Leading and instructing youth programs are pursuits that drive and inspire Cori. Her goal is to empower youth to be the best artists and storytellers that they can be with the idea that they are magical in their own way. In her free time, she practices yoga, recently receiving her 200-hour yoga teacher certificate. She wants to use her yoga, dance, and acting training to teach youth how to utilize these art forms for mental health care. As a kid, she watched “Totally Circus” on the Disney channel and wanted to join Circus Smirkus. Even though that never happened, she’s excited to be in an environment that brings her pure nostalgia.
