Summary:
CircEsteem is looking for a Finance Manager with a strong background in nonprofit reporting. Applicants will have experience in budget creation and management, grant reporting, and ability to work in a dynamic work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Organizational Financial Management

  • Support budget creation, budget projections, cash flow and expenditure analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly organization-wide and program specific reports for Executive Director.
  • Manage all bi-weekly payroll functions, including benefits, PTO accrual, reimbursements, etc.
  • In coordination with the Office Manager and applicable staff, process accounts payable, account receivable, monthly reconciliations, close month-end books, etc.
  • Responsible for all bookkeeping and data input into accounting software, including journal entries, in Coordination with the Executive Director, carry out guidelines of board approved Investment Policy.
  • Manager of all Insurance Policies.
  • Preparation for annual external audit..

Grant Financial Management

  • Monitor and analyze grant budget expenditures with Program Team
  • Prepare monthly reimbursement vouchers for government grants
  • Support the creation of grant specific budgets and monitor employee salary allocations

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably holds a Masters in Accountancy; CPA certification a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, 7+ years preferred
  • Must have in-depth understanding of QuickBooks Online
  • Sophisticated understanding of day-to-day accounting processes, general ledger work, and detailed budget processes.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Scheduled 40 hours per week, year round
  • Annual salary: $65,000 - $70,000
  • Generous Benefit Allowance including:
